I felt an auspicious first post on this blog would be to post a favorite corner of my apartment where there resides the calming figurine of a Kuan Yin. She shares the space with couple of Gilden vases found at the flea markets, a pair of encaustic paintings of mine and a leaf shaped plate to hold incense offerrings. They all sit on a floral textile in unusual shades of green and pinkish browns that I intend to use sometime soon as inspiration for some designs.
